The history of golf in the area of Brescia goes back to the beginning of last century, on the hills of Lake Garda. It was here that, thanks to a combination of entrepreneurial intuition and the need to satisfy the ever-increasing demand of foreign tourists, one of the first golf clubs in Italy was founded: Bogliaco.
This club, the third in Italy for date of foundation, and for this reason one of the oldest and glorious, has the value to have opened the way to the
growth of a sport which, for many different reasons, is conquering an increasing number of lovers. Moreover, it gave origin to one of the most interesting golf circuits in Italy, the circuit of Brescia, complete with the Greens of Franciacorta, Gardagolf, Arzaga, Ponte di Legno and others, among which those in the immediate periphery of Brescia are distinctive.
